It’s been a while since I’ve written, but I have a number of good excuses which all boil down to the fact that I’ve been really busy doing pretty interesting stuff, like a 10-day trip to Cote d’Ivoire with 4 concerts, a two-day stint at Umbria Jazz, and most recently, organizing and running Young Jazz Countdown*4. This Sunday I spent all day packing up the festival and then I took the train to Rome, slept in the airport and flew early Monday morning to the USA for the first time in 2 years.
